In May we are going to begin a new segment on KNCE, the “NonProfit Minute” brought to you by Centinel Bank! This will be a great, free opportunity to get the word out about your nonprofit and the work that you do in our community.
To be eligible, you must be a 501(c)3 serving Taos County or the region. You’ll submit two different 90-word descriptions of your organization, to be aired twice a day for seven days
The first round of this segment will run for two months, so we will be selecting eight diverse nonprofits to feature. KNCE will help you refine and record your story in two different one-minute segments that will be followed with a quick message from Centinel Bank. A member of staff your nonprofit will be the voice in the ad, and a member of the KNCE sales team will come to your office to record your spots.
This is an opportunity to educate the community on what your nonprofit offers the community, in two different one-minute radio ads, completely free!
We will review the applications and choose nonprofits based on the quality of their two 90 word descriptions. Both descriptions should be different, and shouldn’t just include a list of services. Focus on two favorite aspects of your organization and tie them to your impact in the community.
We will choose the first four nonprofits on Tuesday April 25th, and will contact those organizations shortly thereafter. We intend for this to be an ongoing project, so please stayed tuned for further rounds!
Thanks to Centinel Bank for sponsoring this segment!
